Electrical Control Systems ensure that the right amount of power is securely and safely provided to the various electrically powered suspended access equipment and construction tools.
First, depending on the nature of construction activity, payload and tools will differ. Secondly, each site will have its own set of specific needs and limitation e.g. power availability and fluctuation shape of construction site, time of work etc. Electrical Control Systems have to be custom-designed using standard and specialized components. For example, in a large construction site, step-up transformers may be installed to cover for voltage drops over large distances. Safety systems such as automatic power limit or cut-off switches may be used to mitigate the risk of electrical system failures.
